FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question? Send it through with your quote request and the local contractor will get back to you.

How much does line marking cost in New Zealand?

Prices depend on the type of marking and the surface area. Re-marking a standard 30-bay car park usually sits between $1,500 and $3,500 plus GST. Warehouse floor marking, road works, and sports courts are quoted individually. Submit the form and your local contractor will give you a firm price.

How long does it take to mark a car park?

A typical 30 to 50 bay car park is completed in a single day, often overnight to avoid disrupting customers and staff. Paint cures quickly so the area can usually be reopened within a few hours.

Do you work after hours or on weekends?

Yes. Most of our contractors offer night and weekend work at no extra charge for larger jobs, to avoid shutting down your car park or warehouse during business hours.

What paint do you use?

Road-grade chlorinated rubber and water-based acrylic paints for most jobs, hot-applied thermoplastic for high-wear roads and playgrounds, and epoxy or MMA for warehouse floors. Your contractor will recommend the right product for your surface.

Can you remove old line markings?

Yes. We grind, shot-blast, or chemically remove existing lines as needed, then re-mark from a clean surface. Removal is usually cheaper than overpainting for a clean finish.
